The 15th Annual Greek Parade in commemoration of the Greek Independence will take place in Boston on Sunday, April 26, 2009. The first Parade Community Meeting is scheduled for churches and organizations to learn about the exciting festivities and the process of planning as we get set to celebrate the 15th Annual Parade in the City of Boston! This is an exciting time for the Greek Community to display their Hellenic heritage with pride. Individuals should take this opportunity to explore the various events and activities and learn about how you and your organization can get involved and participate to be a part of the Fifteenth Annual Parade and Celebrations. The Annual Greek Independence Parade consists of a wide range of talented organizers and dedicated contributors in many fields. Everyone is invited to attend and volunteer in one of the committees that make up the organization as well as to join one of the parade working groups. The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Maliotis Cultural Center, 50 Goddard Avenue, Brookline, MA, on February 11th at 7:30 pm. We respectfully encourage ALL society, organization and church representatives to attend this important meeting. Your participation and feedback is of paramount importance to us and to the success this special milestone of our parade on April 26, 2009 and related activities!
