APPLICATION DEADLINE IS: MARCH 11, 2008!

 

 

 

Federation Application Requirements: 

  1. Must be enrolled as a Freshman student of an accredited University or College.
  2. Must be of Greek decent.
  3. Exhibit high academic standards and leadership qualities
  4. Submit an official academic transcript, acquired from the University or College’s Registrar’s office.
  5. Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from an individual other than family members.
  6. Submit a brief essay regarding the general area of Greece, which the Applicant and his / her family come from. (No longer than three (3) typed pages. In English please.)
  7. Applicant’s parent(s) must be in good standing with their Society or Association, at least ONE year prior to the application date, and their Society or Association must be an active member and in good standing of the Federation of Hellenic American Societies of New England.

Constantinos Hionides Scholarship Requirements:

  1. Must be enrolled as a current or graduate student of an accredited University or College.

  2. Must be of Greek Descent.

  3. Exhibit high academic standing and leadership qualities.

  4. Submit an Official academic subscript, acquired from the University or College’s Registrar’s office.

  5. Submit two letters of recommendation from individuals other than a family member.

  6. Submit a brief essay regarding the general area of Greece, which the Applicant and his/her Family come from. No longer than three (3) typed pages in English please.

  7.  Applicant’s parent(s) must be in good standing with their Society or Association, at least one (1) year prior to the application date, and their Society or Association to be an active member and in good standing with the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of New England.

Harry Katis Scholarship Requirements: 

  1. Must be a High School Senior.
  2. Must be of Greek decent.
  3. Exhibit high academic standards and leadership qualities
  4. Submit an official academic transcript, acquired from the Registrar’s office.
  5. Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from individuals other than family members.
  6. Submit a brief essay regarding the general area of Greece, which the Applicant and his / her family come from. (No longer than three (3) typed pages. In English please.)
