The Federation of Hellenic American Societies of New England,  founded in 1982, is the premier umbrella organization of over forty Hellenic-American associations, representing over thousands of individuals in the community.

Mission Statement

To preserve and promote the Hellenic culture and heritage, and to support the Hellenic-American community through cultural programming, education and counseling, as well as supporting philanthropic activities throughout the Hellenic community.

Cultural Activities

The F.H.A.S.N.E. is the proud coordinator of several Hellenic-American community celebrations including the annual Greek Independence Day Parade in Boston. This event attracts thousands of community members and brings together people from throughout New England.

Our annual Dinner Gala boasts over four hundred attendees, includes dignitaries and political leaders from both the New England area and Greece, and serves as a fundraiser for our events.

Educational Efforts

We strive to provide presentations that are of interest to our members and the New England community at large through lectures, multi-media presentations and discussion forums.

The F.H.A.S.N.E. heads the creation of the Hellenic Library for Children, a unique project to help children maintain and build the connection with the Greek language and traditions through the use of appropriate Greek books, videos, CD’s, DVD’s, games and puzzles.
